WEST BROM V COVENTRY BETTING FORM

West Brom have been perennial top-half finishers in the Championship over the last five years, and regular play-off contenders but this looks set to end this season. The Baggies currently sit 21st in the league table and just two points above the drop zone. Eric Ramsay has been unable to end West Brom’s recent winless run after being appointed in January, with his side yet to win a league match in 2026. Can they turn it around on Saturday?

DRAW: Birmingham 0-0 West Brom, 10th February 2026
DRAW: West Brom 0-0 Stoke, 7th February 2026
LOSS: Portsmouth 3-0 West Brom, 31st January 2026

Coventry will be full of confidence heading into this clash after reclaiming the top spot in the Championship during their midweek match against rivals Middlesbrough. Frank Lampard’s men bounced back from a slight drop off in form in the new year to leapfrog Boro and stay in the driver’s seat in this year’s title race. Haji Wright was in fine touch on Monday, scoring a hat-trick to secure three vital points. Can they keep up the momentum in this one?

WHAT ARE THE BEST ODDS ON WEST BROM V COVENTRY?

League leaders Coventry come into this one as the favourites, currently priced at evens to win the match. You can also back them in our 2-Up Early Payout market, which pays out if your team goes two goals up at any time during the game, at 19/20.

Hosts West Brom have struggled mightily since the new year, and are understandably underdogs in this one. You can back them to claim all three points at 5/2, or 23/10 in our 2-Up market. If you’re expecting a stalemate, you can back a draw at 5/2.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Saturday’s clash, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market currently has Coventry favoured by 0.35-0.55 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Coventry to win to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for the Sky Blues would win you 0.45 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.45 times your stake, and so on.

However, if you bought and Coventry drew or lost the game, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 1.55 times your stake, a two-goal loss 2.55 times your stake, etc.

You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.55-2.75. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, as was the case the last time these two sides met, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.

If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.55 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended in 3-2, as it did the last time these sides met in the league, you would lose 2.45 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
