West Ham suffered a dramatic FA Cup quarter-final exit at the weekend, losing to Leeds United on penalties. The Hammers now face a quick turnaround, with a crucial Premier League clash this Friday against bottom-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers at home, a match that could prove pivotal in their fight for survival.
They will be eager to welcome back key players Crysencio Summerville, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Callum Wilson from injury to strengthen their chances. A victory over Wolves would lift West Ham out of the relegation zone and pile significant pressure on Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest ahead of their fixtures on Sunday.

Wolves have endured a miserable campaign, with relegation for next season looking increasingly likely. They currently sit rock bottom of the Premier League, but their recent form has shown signs of improvement, picking up 14 points from their last 12 matches.
A victory by two goals or more against West Ham on Friday could lift them off the foot of the table. Having not played since March 16th, Wolves will be hoping the extended break leaves them refreshed and ready to claim all three points at the London Stadium.

West Ham are the favourites heading into this game and are priced at 17/20 to get the victory on Spreadex’s fixed odds market (3/4 on our 2 Up early payout Match Odds market) whilst visitors Wolves are priced at 16/5 to get the win (29/10 on our 2 Up early payout Match Odds market) and the draw priced at 11/4.
Wolves have won their last three matches against West Ham. You can get them to win and both teams to score priced at 11/2 or Wolves to win to nil priced at 6/1.
Our football spread betting prices have West Ham as the favourites with a Goal Supremacy quote of West Ham/Wolves 0.55 – 0.75. This means a 'buy' bet at 0.75 would need a West Ham one goal win to start turning a profit (e.g. one goal win would win 0.25x your stake, two goal win would win 1.25x your stake etc.).
A 0.55 'sell' bet would need a draw or Wolves win to turn a profit (e.g. a draw would win 0.55x your stake and a one goal Wolves win would win 1.55x your stake etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.75 – 2.95. So a 2.95 'buy' bet would need at least three goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a ‘2.75’ sell bet would need two goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 2.95 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 2.95x your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 0.75 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended in a draw you would lose 0.75x your stake, if the game ended in a Wolves one goal win then it would lose 1.75x your stake etc. And in the 0.55 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.45x your stake on a one goal West Ham win and 1.45x your stake on a two goal West Ham win etc.
Price Boosts are typically available on the Spreadex website the day before the game, so it’s worth checking back closer to kick-off for enhanced odds. In addition, Spreadex also features ‘Popular Bet-Builders’, specially curated by their in-house pricing team to highlight fan-favourite betting combinations.
Last time out for West Ham they scored two 90th minute goals to level their game against Leeds in the FA Cup. This time round West Ham’s Last Match Goal spread betting market has a spread of 51 – 54. This means a repeat of their recent late heroics would win 36x your stake if you were to ‘buy’ at 54.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. So for example West Ham’s Last Match Goal was scored in the 30th minute, a ‘buy’ at 54 would lose 24x times your stake.
