ANALYSIS

Wall Street

Wall Street's upward correction of its downtrend from the August high has broken above a descending trendline, strengthening the case for a bullish reversal. Price reached the upper band before easing back, but holds above VWAP, with the rising trendline from the May low well beneath. RSI is just above neutral after cooling from its recent peak. Holding above the broken descending trendline keeps a new uptrend in play, while a drop back below it would put the lower band in focus.

Wall St

US Tech 100

US Tech 100's correction from the early-October high has extended, with price holding below VWAP and the broken rising trendline from the April low, while the descending trendline from that high caps rebounds. Price is drifting toward a widening lower band. RSI is well below neutral and nearing oversold. Reclaiming the broken rising trendline would point to the uptrend resuming, while holding below it risks the correction deepening into a full-on bearish reversal.

US Tech

Germany 40

Germany 40 remains in a correction, with price coiling around VWAP inside narrowing bands after breaking above the descending trendline from the late-August high. The rising trendline from the June low sits well overhead after giving way in September. RSI is sitting around neutral, consistent with downside momentum continuing to fade. Holding above the descending trendline raises the chance the prior uptrend resumes, while a slip back below it would point to the lower band.

Ger 40

UK 100

UK 100 has eased back from the upper band after its October rally, but remains above VWAP and is holding a steep rising trendline from the October low, just above the broken descending trendline from the late-August high. The index stays within its range since late July. RSI is just above neutral. A break below the rising trendline would put VWAP back in focus, while a push back to the upper band would challenge the range highs.

UK 100

GBP/USD

Cable's pullback within the downtrend from the August high has stalled at the descending trendline from that high, with price rejected near the upper band and easing back. Price remains above a rising VWAP, and the rising trendline from the late-June low sits well below. RSI is just above neutral and turning lower. A drop back below VWAP would signal the downtrend resuming, while a close above the descending trendline would deepen the pullback into a correction.

GBP

EUR/USD

EUR/USD's pullback within the downtrend from the September high has lost momentum, with price drifting sideways just below VWAP inside sharply narrowing bands. Price is sitting on the descending trendline from that high, while the broken rising trendline from the late-June low remains well overhead. RSI is below neutral, signalling subdued momentum. Holding below VWAP risks a return to the lower band, while a close above it would give the pullback more room.

EUR

USD/JPY

USD/JPY remains range-bound, but price has slipped below the rising trendline from the early-October low and dipped under the lower band before bouncing, leaving it below VWAP. The descending trendline from the early-September high continues to cap rallies. RSI is just below neutral. Holding below the broken rising trendline keeps the lower band in focus, while a recovery back above VWAP would return price to the middle of the range.

JPY

Gold

Gold's downtrend has resumed, with price rejected at the descending trendline from the August high before breaking below the rising trendline from the July low. Price is now pressing the lower band, well beneath a falling VWAP. RSI is below neutral and nearing oversold, so a short-term bounce is possible. Holding below the broken rising trendline keeps the downtrend on track, while a recovery back above it would put VWAP in focus.

Gold

Brent Crude

Brent Crude's uptrend has resumed, with price breaking decisively above the long-running descending trendline from the May high to reach the upper band. Price holds well above a rising VWAP and the rising trendline from the August low. RSI is comfortably above neutral without yet being overbought. Holding above the broken descending trendline keeps the advance on track, while a drop back below it would put VWAP back in focus.
