Canada and Morocco have both enjoyed impressive World Cup campaigns and will view this Round of 16 clash as a huge opportunity to book a place in the quarter-finals. Canada finished runners-up in their group before edging past South Africa in the Round of 32 thanks to a dramatic late winner from Stephen Eustáquio.
Morocco, meanwhile, came through one of the tournament's toughest groups featuring Brazil, Scotland and Haiti unbeaten before producing one of the most dramatic results of the Round of 32. After battling to a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands, the Atlas Lions held their nerve to prevail in a penalty shootout, with Ismael Saibari, who scored in every group-stage match, coolly converting the decisive spot-kick to send Morocco through.
With both sides full of confidence and sensing a genuine chance to go deep into the tournament, this promises to be one of the most closely contested and entertaining ties of the Round of 16.

Morocco are the favourites to win this fixture, priced at 5/6 on Spreadex’s fixed odds market (4/5 on our 2 Up early payout Match Odds market) with Canada priced at 18/5 (17/5 on the 2 Up early payout market) and the draw at 12/5.
The last time these two sides met was in the Olympics in 2022 where Morocco defeated Canada 2-1. A repeat of that scoreline this time round is priced at 8/1.
Alternatively, if you’re expecting Morocco to win and Canada to get on the scoresheet without picking an exact result, Morocco To Win + BTTS is available at 10/3.
Our football spread betting prices have Morocco as the favourites with a Goal Supremacy quote of Morocco/Canada (h) 0.6 – 0.8. This means a 'buy' bet at 0.8 would need a Morocco win to start turning a profit (e.g. one goal win would win 0.2x your stake, two goal win would win 1.2x your stake etc.).
A 0.6 'sell' bet would need a draw or Canada win to turn a profit (e.g. draw would win 0.6x your stake and a one goal Canada win would win 1.6x your stake etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.3 – 2.5. So a 2.5 'buy' bet would need at least three goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a ‘2.3’ sell bet would need two goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 2.5 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 2.5x your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 0.8 'buy' Supremacy bet example above a draw would lose 0.8x your stake and a one goal Canada win would lose 1.8x your stake etc. And in the 0.6 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.4x your stake on a one goal Morocco win, 1.4x your stake on a two goal Morocco win etc.
Price Boosts are typically available on the Spreadex website the day before the game, so it’s worth checking back closer to kick-off for enhanced odds. In addition, Spreadex also features ‘Popular Bet-Builders’, specially curated by their in-house pricing team to highlight fan-favourite betting combinations.
Both sides scored decisive goals 90th minute goals in their games in the round of 32. This time round the Last Match Goal spread betting market is 60-63. This means a ‘buy’ at 63 would win 27x your stake if there were to be a repeat of last minute drama.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. So for example if the Last Match Goal was scored in the 40th minute a ‘buy’ at 63 would lose 23x times your stake.
Spreadex offers a wide range of football spread betting prices on Canada v Morocco, as well as traditional sportsbook/fixed odds prices.
