Crystal Palace will be hoping to press the reset button as they return from the international break, following a tough start to the domestic season. The Eagles have won just one of their opening 5 league games, and with a European schedule to balance, they will need to bounce back if they are to avoid a relegation scrap this year. Can they return to form in this one?

Nottingham Forest have also had a challenging start to this Premier League campaign, and sit just two spots above their opponents. This will be Forest manager Oliver Glasner’s first game back at Selhurst Park after leaving in the summer. The German helped guide Palace through somewhat of a golden age for the club, but Eagles fans will still no doubt be keen to see him on the losing side of this one.

These two sides are inseparable in our fixed odds betting markets, with prices suggesting a very evenly-matched contest. Both teams are currently priced at 13/8 to claim the three points. You can also back either side in our 2-Up Early Payout market, which pays out if your team goes two goals up at any time during the game. This market currently has Palace priced at 6/4, with Forest at 31/20.
This contest has yielded a draw in the previous three fixtures. If you’re expecting another close-run affair, you can back the draw at 23/10.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Sunday’s game, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market also has the two teams inseparable, with Crystal Palace favoured by -0.1 – 0.1 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Palace to win to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for the Eagles would win you 0.9 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.9 times your stake, and so on. A “sell” would need Forest to win, whilst a draw would result in no profit or loss for both buyers and sellers.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This line is currently set at 2.55-2.75 goals. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.
If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.55 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.45 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
