England’s 21 game streak of wearing white at a major tournament finally comes to an end on Saturday, but there are more pressing issues for Thomas Tuchel as his side face Panama. The Three Lions were tamed on Tuesday evening when a limp performance saw them draw 0-0 against a stout Ghana side. England often have a habit of throwing these games in during the group stage with 0-0 draws coming against Costa Rica, Slovakia, Scotland, USA, and Slovenia in recent memory.
That is a record of five from the last six major tournaments, the one blot on the copybook was the year England faced Panama in the group stage. That matched finished 6-1 as England ran riot and Tuchel would love another goal fest this weekend. Panama, with two 1-0 defeats from their two matches are out already, but they can play with freedom and they would love nothing more than to collect a major scalp by beating England in New Jersey.
Panama’s is an eclectic squad, with players plying their trade across the globe in nations like Azerbaijan, Russia, Israel, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Chile, Austria, and Honduras amongst others. The one English based player is Norwich full-back Jose Cordoba who has played in both matches so far. Danish born manager Thomas Christiansen made two appearances for the Spanish national side whilst on the books of Barcelona and also had a short spell in charge of Leeds United.

Unsurprisingly, England are massive odds on shots for this one, with the sportsbook offering a price of 2/13 to get three points and secure top spot in the group. The draw can be backed at 7/1, with a shock Panama victory priced at 14/1. With England too short to back as a single for most punters, attention turns elsewhere.
An England win to nil can be backed at 8/11, with any other result an even money shot. The Three Lions are 8/11 to score over 2.5 goals and are 15/8 to repeat their opening match feat against Croatia and score over 3.5 goals.
In the player markets, Harry Kane is 9/4 to open the scoring, with Jude Bellingham 31/20 to score anytime and Anthony Gordon 9/5 in the same market. The former Newcastle man may well not start this weekend after a lacklustre performance on Tuesday, with his likely replacement Marcus Rashford 29/20 to hit the back of the net anytime.
In the correct score market, another 6-1 win for England has been pushed out from 33/1 to 40/1 and we have boosted Noni Madueke to get an assist from 2/1 to 23/10.

We have plenty of football spread betting markets and a logical place to start would be the Harry Kane Player Goal Minutes spread. Set at 47-51, buyers will be hoping the Bayern man atones for his late miss against Ghana and fills his boots against a nation he scored a hat trick against back in 2018.
In our popular markets, Total Goals can be traded at 3.45-365, Goals Minutes is 173-188, and you can buy or sell Headed Goal Minutes at 35-38.
