The complexion of tonight’s match between Leeds and Spurs has changed a lot in the last 24 hours, thanks to Arsenal’s 1-0 win over West Ham at the London Stadium. That result left Daniel Farke’s side assured of safety and the German can reflect on a job well done. As for Spurs, they have drifted out to 11/2 in our relegation betting, and it looks as though they will escape by the skin of their teeth, having recorded back-to-back wins under Roberto De Zerbi.
Leeds were 11/5 when this match was initially priced up, but the Whites have drifted out to 10/3 as our traders question their motivation ahead of this one. They will also be without Swiss star Noah Okafor, who has been in scintillating form of late for the West Yorkshire side. They do however have long memories in LS11, and the fanbase will remember all to clearly being beaten 4-1 by Spurs in the last game of their 2022/23 relegation season. The travelling 3000 will be hoping they can keep the Londoners on edge for another week at least.
Tottenham have had their fair share of injury woes this season, but they should be able to call on the services of Rodrigo Bentancur and Richelson who were both injured in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa. James Maddison could be in line for his first minutes of the season, having been an unused sub in their last two matches.
