We also offer a number of spread betting markets for this clash, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market currently has Netherlands favoured by 0.7 - 0.9 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Netherlands to win to start turning a profit. A two-goal victory for Netherlands would win you 1.1x your stake, a three goal win 2.1x your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and Netherlands drew or lost, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 1.9x your stake, a two-goal loss 2.9x your stake, etc. A draw would lose you 0.9x your stake on buy bets.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.7 - 2.9. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.
If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.7x your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.3x your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
