SWITZERLAND V BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA BETTING FORM

Switzerland will be disappointed after only earning one point in their opening group against Qatar. Murat Yakin’s side dominated their opponents and took an early lead through Breel Embolo’s penalty, but couldn’t extend their lead, and a late goal from Qatar meant Switzerland had to settle for a draw. With host nation Canada still to play, Switzerland will be looking to get a win against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Thursday.

SWITZERLAND FORM

DRAW: Qatar 1-1 Switzerland, 13 June 2026 – FIFA World Cup
DRAW: Switzerland 1-1 Australia, 6 June 2026 – International Friendly
WIN: Switzerland 4-1 Jordan, 31 May 2026 – International Friendly

Bosnian fans will feel fairly pleased with a draw from their opening fixture after surviving a late onslaught from hosts Canada. After taking an early lead through Jovo Lukić’s header, Bosnia & Herzegovina didn’t create many other clear-cut chances, whilst Canada dominated possession for much of the second half. Now Sergej Barbarez’s men face pre-tournament Group B favourites, Switzerland, who will be looking to get their first win at the competition as well.

SWITZERLAND V BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Thursday’s match, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market currently has Switzerland favoured by 0.95-1.15 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Switzerland to win by at least two goals to start turning a profit. A two-goal victory for Switzerland would win you 0.85 times your stake, a three-goal win 1.85 times your stake, and so on.

However, if you bought and Switzerland drew, lost, or won by one, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss for Switzerland would cost you 2.15 times your stake, whilst a draw would cost you 1.15 times your stake.

You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.45-2.65. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.

If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.45 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.55 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
