West Ham v Arsenal betting form

After a disastrous weekend which saw West Ham fall to a 3-0 defeat against Brentford while Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and Leeds all secured crucial victories, the Hammers have slipped back into the relegation zone. Leeds and Forest now appear almost out of reach, leaving Tottenham as the only side West Ham can realistically hope to catch.

West Ham host league leaders Arsenal at the London Stadium on Sunday knowing that a positive result could be vital to keeping their survival hopes alive, especially with Tottenham facing a far more favourable run-in to the end of the season.

WEST HAM RECENT FORM

LOSS: Brentford 3-0 West ham. Saturday 2nd May 2026.
WIN: West Ham 2-1 Everton. Saturday 25th April 2026.
DRAW: Crystal Palace 0-0 West Ham. Monday 20th April 2026.
WIN: West Ham 4-0 Wolves. Friday 10th April 2026.

Arsenal have enjoyed a hugely successful week, extending their advantage at the top of the Premier League following a comfortable victory over Fulham, while Manchester City dropped points away at Everton. The Gunners also booked their place in the Champions League final on Tuesday night after overcoming Atletico Madrid across two legs.

A trip to West Ham now appears to be Arsenal’s toughest remaining league fixture, and victory at the London Stadium would leave them in a commanding position to secure the title. After this weekend, Arsenal face a relegated Burnley side and a Crystal Palace team whose focus may already be on their upcoming Conference League final.

ARSENAL RECENT FORM

WIN: Arsenal 1-0 Atletico Madrid. Tuesday 5th May 2026.

DRAW: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Arsenal. Wednesday 29th April 2026.
LOSS: Man City 2-1 Arsenal. Sunday 19th April 2026.

West Ham v Arsenal football spread betting prices

Our football spread betting prices have Arsenal as the favourites with a Goal Supremacy quote of Arsenal/West Ham (h) 0.95 – 1.15. This means a 'buy' bet at 1.15 would need an Arsenal two goal win to start turning a profit (e.g. two goal win would win 0.85x your stake, three goal win would win 1.85x your stake etc.).

A 0.95 'sell' bet would need a draw or West Ham win to turn a profit (e.g. Draw would win 0.95x your stake, one goal West Ham win 1.95x your stake etc.).

Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.95 – 3.15. So a 3.15 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a ‘2.95’ sell bet would need two goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.

Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.15 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.15x your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 1.15 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, a one goal Arsenal win would lose 0.15x your stake and a draw would lose 1.15x your stake. If West Ham won by one goal then it would lose 2.15x your stake etc. And in the 0.95 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.05x your stake on a one goal Arsenal win, 1.05x your stake on a two goal Arsenal win etc.

The last time West Ham hosted Arsenal at the London Stadium, Arsenal ran out 5-2 winners with all seven match goals coming in the first half. This time round the spread betting market First Half Goals has a spread of 1.3 – 1.45. This means if there were a repeat of seven first half goals this time round a ‘buy’ at 1.45 would win 5.55x your stake.

Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. So for example if there were no first half goals scored a ‘buy’ at 1.45 would lose 1.45x times your stake.
