How can I watch Leeds United v Newcastle United?Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.
Two sides with identical records meet tonight at Elland Road as Newcastle make the trip south for a clash with Leeds at Elland Road. The pair met at a similar time last year in a fairly insipid 0-0 draw, but with Leeds looking to establish themselves this season, there will hopefully be more attacking intent from the hosts.
Daniel Farke’s side have shown adaptability this season, with the shape changing and the team rotating as they earned points against Brentford and, last time out, against Brighton. That match with the Seagulls saw Leeds dominate proceedings before running out of steam. The Whites will be hoping that a raucous Elland Road will spur them on to victory this evening.
For Newcastle, it was a summer of turmoil, but Matthias Jaissle has impressed so far in the Newcastle dugout, and he will be hopeful of three points tonight. Amar Dedic and Ewen Jaouen are doubts for the visitors, whilst Joelinton, Dan Burn, and Will Osula will return after the international break.
